    Design is important for us at Kebet, and we have included the major design types generally available the world over. We rely on the FEFCO (Federation of European Fibre Container Organisations), as a reliable and easy guide to box types and express descriptions in their sensible coding system.     Note: just to play with us they use the extension B to denote Width rather than W.

  • Slotted-type boxes

    Slotted-type boxes consist of basically one piece with a glued, stitched or taped manufacturers joint and top and bottom flaps. They are shipped flat, ready to use and require closing using tape on the top and base for closure.

    Basic single sided corrugated cardboard. Great for general packaging. Standard sizes are 610mm (2'); 915mm (3'); 1200mm (4'); 1525mm (5'); 1830mm (6')

    The HSC (Half Slotted Container) or 0200 type box is the classic half box and has application where a lid is not required. The base is either taped, glued or stapled.

    The RSC (Regular Slotted Container) or 0201 type box is the classic carton. The most efficient use of cardboard with many applications. The base and top are either taped, glued or stapled.

    The FFSC (Full Flap Slotted Container) or 0203 type box is the classic double ended carton. This is used when the width is narrow and folding is difficult or when contents require extra protection. The base and top are either taped, glued or stapled.

    The 0210 box is a tuck in box type. Elegant and easy to assemble design. A cutting form is required to make these and this is a once only charge.

    The 0211 box is a tuck in box type. Elegant and easy to assemble design. Different from 0210 in that tuck ins are opposite. A cutting form is required to make these and this is a once only charge.

    The 0215 style diecut box is an elegant alternative to the 0201, hinged lid and envelope bottom, hence no tape etc required. A cutting form is required to make these and this is a once only charge.

    The 0217 is the classic carry pack - perfect for bottles and any number of items. Classic carry pack design. Lock in base box. Fast erection, no tape or glue required. Typically used for bottles or carry kits.

    Telescope-type boxes

    Telescope-type boxes consist of more than one piece and are characterised by a lid and/or bottom telescoping over the body of the box. Note: Mailing or storage boxes, like a shoe box.

    This is the classic base and lid style. It requires glue, tape or staples for erection. The style is simple to make and construct with an efficient use of material. Great for packing panels or large dimension items that are thein (narrow).

    The 0320 is a box and lid set which requires the height to be variable or whenthe base is to used as a dispenser. During the era of continuous paper forms these were the style most favoured.

    This a diecut version of a box and lid set. Self locking, elegant and efficient. Easy erection. No glue or tape required. Great for easy pack and access.

    Folder-type boxes

    Folder-type boxes and trays usually consist of only one piece of board. The bottom of the box is hinged to form two or all side walls and the cover. Locking tabs, handles, display panels etc., can be incorporated in some designs. Note: Mailing of books, LPs, containers for fruit and veg, baking and foodstuffs.

    The CCF (Corner Cut Folder) or 0401, is an efficient means of packaging very small width items (eg LPs, books, paintings or frames).

    The AFM CCF (All Flaps Meeting Corner Cut Folder) or 0402, is an efficient means of packaging very small width items (eg paintings or frames). The internal flaps meeting ensures a better protection on the sealing side and prevents a knife slitting into product when cutting tape.

    The Buffered CCF 0r 0403 gives a crumple zone on the ends of the box, especially useful for fragile or easily damaged products. Great for packing and sending paintings or framed items. Extra corner protection.

    The 5PF (5 Panel Folder) or 0409, is an efficient means of packaging very small width items (eg paintings or frames).

    The CC 5PF (Corner Cut 5 Panel Folder) or 0410, is an efficient means of packaging very small width items (eg paintings or frames). The cut out corner makes the end a little less bulky.

    The 0421 is an elegant package for transport and, efficiency of erecting and aesthetic purposes. Great for food industry. Easy erection.No tape or glue.

    The 0422 tray is an easily erected tray without need of glue, tape or staples. Frequently used as a tote bin.

    The 0423 tray is an easily erected tray without need of glue, tape or staples. Frequently used as a tote bin.

    The 0426 mail is an easily erected carton without need of glue, tape or staples. This is a very efficient use of material. Australia Post style format. Inside flaps mitigate against intrusion or exposure of product. Easy erection. No tape or glue.

    The 0427 is an elegant package for transport and, efficiency of erecting and aesthetic purposes. The inside flaps allow for maximum security. Best type for transport. Inside flaps mitigate against intrusion or exposure of product. Fold over front to lock box. Easy erection. No tape or glue.

    The 0429 is an elegant package for transport and, efficiency of erecting and aesthetic purposes. The inside flaps allow for maximum security.

    The 0470 is an elegant package for transport and, efficiency of erecting and aesthetic purposes. Great for food industry. It is a variation on the Mailer (0421) box.

    The 0471 is an elegant package for transport and, efficiency of erecting and aesthetic purposes. Great for food industry. It houses items with flap coming over front to secure the package. This is most favoured by food service users.

    The 0473 is a buffered mailer. Ideal for books, paintings and other similar sized products. It offers maximum protection to the edges and keeps goods in pristine condition. Good corner protection. Tricky to erect but gives double layer all around.
